Mini Darling Ranges dress pattern
Easily adaptable modern shirtdress with a gathered skirt, button down front and relaxed fit. Pattern features V neck, multiple sleeve options, large inseam pockets and ties at the back to allow it to be worn in a fitted or loose style.
View A has long sleeves, pockets and a gathered skirt. View B has short sleeves, pockets and a gathered skirt. View C is sleeveless with pockets and a gathered skirt.

Such an adorable pattern and so versatile! My daughter wanted 3/4-length sleeves for fall, so I adapted it for that and included the bow at the back. I liked the assembly order found the online blog instructions better than the PDF that came with the pattern. It came together beautifully. My only change when I make it again is to serge the sleeves at the beginning. It was really challenging to do on such narrow armholes after assembled.
The Mini Darling Range Pattern makes the best Easter dress for my 10 year old granddaughter , Emily. The directions were very clear and easy to follow.
No lining, no complicated tiny pattern pieces that get lost 😂 this is an amazing, simple, lovely pattern that I see myself making over and over. And my 4 year old loves it!
Having made this pattern for my adult daughter and loved it, I bought the Mini version for dresses for my 2 granddaughters in Scotland. I made up the Mini Darling Range dress for my daughter for a birthday party. It is beautiful. The instructions are so easy to follow and the dress turned out beautiful. Sizing is spot on, I made a size 7and lengthened it by 2 inches which is perfect as she is quite tall for her age. I love that the size range is quite broad and therefore Ican continue to make this dress for another few years. I made it in a cotton poplin and it is perfect for summer.
