Pattern Updates & Errata

Pattern updates: From time to time we may update our patterns to add more value or maintain consistency throughout our branding and the fit of our line. If you have previously purchased a pattern that has been updated and would like an updated copy of the pattern, please email us at hello@megannielsen.com for a complimentary copy.

Errata: We work hard to ensure that our patterns are of the highest quality, but we are human and sometimes small errors slip through our thorough testing and editing process. If you think you have found an error, please email us at hello@megannielsen.com .

Below are details of all pattern updates that have been made, as any errata we have found.

MN1001

This pattern was updated in May 2018 to correct minor instructional errors:

Diagrams in the “Sleeve” section of the instructions show the bodice incorrectly. The modesty panel should be visible when the top is inside out / wrong side facing out. This has been corrected.

The Bodice Front (pattern piece 1) was updated to include a CF notch for alignment with the modesty panel, and instructions where updated accordingly.

Instructions for hemming the skirt were missing. To hem simply fold under ½” (1.3cm) and sew with a zig zag stitch or twin needle.

The dart apex was lowered by 2cm, the dart intake was reduced by 4cm at the waistline, and the side seam was brought in by 4cm to reflect the reduced dart intake.

Instructions were updated with more sewing tips.

Finished garment measurements were updated to reflect the fact that the waistline is adjustable.
