Jeans button fly notions kits
This kit includes all the hard to find notions you need to add professional finishing touches to your handmade Dawn jeans!
Kits come in three colours: Copper, Nickel and Brass.
Each jeans notions kit includes:
5 x jeans shank buttons
5 x tack button nails
11 x jeans rivet burrs
11 x jeans rivet posts
1 x stamped veggie tan leather patch
1 x woven name tag
Extra rivets and buttons have been included to allow you to practice installation.
Leather patches are cut from veggie tanned leather and stamped with care in the USA. Due to the variation in natural leather hides colour of patches may vary slightly from pictured. Be sure to wash garments with your leather patch attached in cold water, with mild detergent to prevent leather patch shrinkage and colour changes.

Love this kit: it is great for making jeans look so professional
I love the look, exposed shiny brass buttons against black denim. This option is easier than a zipper. I do need more practice. They aren’t lined up perfectly but no one but me will notice. Thanks.
I just finished my wearable toile of the Dawn Jeans. I am so thrilled with my very wearable shorts! Jeans buttons are intimidating, but really not hard to install at all. I love it when the instructions ask me to pull out a hammer and a cutting board!!

I'm about to make the Dawn Jeans! I was worried about the notions that I needed so I was happy to find this handy kit!
Needless to say, Megan Nielsen products are second to none in quality. What really stood out for me was the way they went above and beyond to rectify an issue I had. I really appreciated their offer to replace the items after my package arrived torn and empty. (I didn’t even have to ask, they offered!). Replacement items arrived quickly, and as expected they are of high quality. I can’t wait to use the jeans kits on my 2nd pair of denim Dawn Jeans. The I used on my first pair was fantastic, these will no doubt be the same. (Also, an excellent pattern- a total joy to work with despite being a jeans beginner). I am a huge fan of Megan Nielsen patterns and have made many, including Jarrah sweater, 6 pairs of Harper shorts and pants, Dawn jeans, Axel, two Darling Ranges dresses, the Brumby skirt and River. I wouldn’t keep going back if I didn’t love the designs and product quality.
