Love how detailed the instructions are! My jeans fit perfect and I’m so proud I made them 😀
This pattern was so easy to put together - I made two pair of jeans in a weekend! The fit is fabulous, and the length was perfect (I'm tall - 5'11" - and didn't have to lengthen the pattern at all!). I'm looking forward to making more!
It was a big challenge but the instructions were great and I managed to sew in one day. So comfy!
As with all my other Megan Nielsen patterns, I found the Ash Jeans to be a pleasure to sew, with clear and easy to follow instructions. I made the slim fit, without modifications and I’m looking forward to trying the skinny ones next.
I made view D wide leg in a size 4, My vision was a more dressy look jean. I also added a center crease down front of leg to add to the “dressy” look. These fit really well. Usual alterations for me including flat and low seat. Used 5/8” seams throughout. The zipper installation was magic! Love it! Added interfacing to hem and turned up 3/4”. The interfacing was to add a little more weight to the hem. I am 5’3” and this as the full length of the pattern. I usually wear a low waisted and fitted leg pant, but these are very comfortable and I am eager to try the slim leg view.
