Customer Reviews
I am an experienced quilter but a newbie to jacket making. I am loving how easy the directions were to follow. There may or may not be three new Hovea jackets in my closet and two more cut out and ready to be sewn. Someone take away my rotary cutter- there are no quilts safe in my house!
In addition to my review about the material of the pattern itself that was done just after arrival, I would like to say that the pattern was very easy to use, the instructions clear and was so much fun to make.
I chose to make scrappy quilted fabric and then cut my pieces from that.
Just finished making this quilted coat. Pattern and instructions are super easy. I’m on the lookout for more cutter quilts to make more cute jackets.
The pattern arrived and I was most pleasantly surprised. The envelope is very durable, the booklet is in color, easy to read and will certainly last a long time. The price of the pattern was an investment for me-I chose the paper option and did something I don’t typically do and paid shipping.
I am most excited about the jacket pattern and my project which is a scrap fabric patchwork ; it is in process.
I love that the website has what seems like an endless amount of resources for this and all the other patterns.
I believe that this will be the first of many patterns that I will purchase and I have already referred two friends. Once I finish my jacket I will post photo. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
I love this pattern! I got it to make a wearable art coat later this summer. At the last minute used it to make a jacket to take advantage of the awesome pockets on a flight. Made the night before in 1 1/2 hours. No lining, topstitched seam finish and store bought binding. So many compliments and I could stash my pockets with all my flight needs. The minimal pattern pieces allow for so much creativity. 🪡🧵 Deb K
