Customer Reviews
As a new sewists I was a little intimidated looking through this pattern but after spending some time with it, it has become such a reliable and versatile pattern! Definitely worth adding to your pattern library!
Fits true to size (14) no alterations needed. Absolutely loved this sewing project! Will be making more Asap
I decided to make the Hovea cropped jacket version out of a store-bought quilted bedspread. The instructions are spot-on and the quality of the pattern, perfect. I am very pleased with the outcome, and so is my daughter.
I found a beautiful dark green fleece throw in a thrift shop and used it to make my Hovea. Although the fabric was thicker than the suggested fabrics, and shedded heavily the end product turned out just as I hoped. I had barely enough fabric but was able to get the longest length. Wearing the jacket feels like I’m snuggled in a warm blanket. Now I’m ready for cooler temperatures. I will make this jacket again in thinner fabric.
A accidentally made the view E instead of view A and it was the best mistake I could have made for the type of fabric used! The clear, detailed instructions made this project a breeze! I ended up making a view A coat as well and haven't used any other jacket during the winter since making them! 10/10 would recommend!
