I love these pants

Easy to follow and easy to sew up. I made the button version in a black rayon twill, but instead of buttons I used giant press studs which worked really well. These are super comfortable, will be making more.

Flint Pants and Shorts Pattern

I bought the PDF version of the pattern was pattern to use it to make a pair of shorts for my daughter. I am a beginner and I find the instructions easy to follow. It looks flattering. It also provides suggestions for other variations as well. I will make different style using this pattern.

The best fitting trousers for me :)

Sewed the short and the overall version and I'm usually a skirt/dress person, but I loooove these shorts and overalls so much!💕 The instructions are very clear and the fit is really good (and easy to alter).

What everyone says about this pattern is spot on: I downloaded a pdf copy after seeing so many cute versions on a diverse population of sewists.. It seem to flatter everyone of all body types. My kind of pants pattern! It did not disappoint. I made my Flint pants in carefully hoarded Japanese linen (just waiting for that special pattern that would do the material justice). They are super comfortable. And equally wonderful, I feel they are flattering. I routinely receive compliments on them. And of course it’s always fun to say “Oh, I made them, thank you”. I’m an experienced sewist, but this pattern is so well designed and the instructions so clear
even a relatively inexperienced person shouldn’t be afraid to try them. And the pockets are so clever. They are really fun to make.
Next up, the shorts version.
