My first jumpsuit and I’m in love!

I loved working on the Durban Jumpsuit! This was my first pattern from Megan Nielsen and I found the instructions easy to follow and well laid out—great, clear illustrations as well. The jumpsuit fits perfectly and is exactly what I had hoped for. I’m a 12/14 and went with the 14 and love the ample fit. I’m excited to try the other versions of this pattern!

    Surprise hit

I ordered this because I'm looking for winter weather pants patterns that are work appropriate. I love this pattern for how tailored it looks, while being comfortable. I see many pattern hacks in the future of the future of thos pattern.

    Lovely pattern

Instructions are clear and easy to follow. The pdf printed accurately and went together easily. Only made a toile so far which I made in a size 4. The sizing is accurate but I’m between sizes so will just reduce the seam allowance in places.

    I'm in love....

I love this pattern! I've made two of the sleeveless version with wide legs, and they are so stylish and comfortable. I layer them with the Rowan bodysuit, and throw a blazer or short jacket on top. The pattern measurements are very accurate, and the small adjustment I have to make to all bottoms worked perfectly. I suggest looking at the blog posts about construction when you start, and sewing a practice placket - it's not hard, but having one under your belt before starting on the whole garment in the good fabric is useful. I'll likely make another of these when I have time, and check out another option - a holiday version in a comfy but beautiful fabric is worth thinking about for stylish lounging-while-eating!
