    4 made already

It took me around 2 months to decide on a jumpsuit pattern and durban had lots of options so it fit my needs. I have loved the pattern so much I have made 4 now. My first round neck, wide leg, 4 patch pockets in mid weight cotton. Being my first I wasn’t quite sure how it would work and originally had side seam pockets but due to the fabrics lack of drape I was originally disappointed. To fix the issue I took out the side seam pockets added 2 patch pockets to the front and sewed 4 long darts (2 front, 2 back) to provide more shape through the mid section that nailed my fitting issues. Since then I have remade the pattern 3 more times leaving out the darts but using fabric with far more drape. 2 In Tencel and one in rayon. I have to say I think the rayon may be my favorite yet. I also tried the narrow leg version last make and think it might be the better choice for me. There may be one more to come as I love the rayon so much! Oh and super super comfy!!!

I've been wearing this every day

I am amazed about how little I had to modify this pattern to comfortably fit me. I made my first one out of a cheap cotton twill and I can't stop wearing it. So comfortable and chic. Two terms that don't seem to go together until you slip into the Durban Jumpsuit!

Clear and easy to follow instructions!

My 2nd MN pattern (1st was the Jarrah which I LOVE). Once again, delightfully clear instructions. I’m colour blocking: the sleeveless top in black linen and the shorts in black flecked linen. Inseam pockets with another black lining scrap. I’ll make the belt in same linen as top and add loops. I’m using up remnants - fingers crossed it will look ok when finished. I find bust darts tricky to get right so am after more info on that before I start my next Durban but so far, so good!

    Don’t walk, RUN!

Don’t waste time, buy this pattern! I made view B with a tie belt in linen and it came out fabulous, great instructions as always and beautifullly drafted. The fit is always perfect for me and I made no changes. A surprisingly easy make too, love it - I will be making more forthr summer.
