Quick and easy make

I love the pattern, the hardest thing for me was to find a knit with enough stretch and recovery – went for a “punto Milano” and worked great. My advice is to size it up! I am now 34 weeks pregnant and this skirt is practically all I am wearing :)

Easy sew, satisfying

The Erin skirt is the perfect maternity sew. Straightforward, simple, and looks good. I chose to make this skirt instead of buying a similar style and I’m glad I did! So satisfying and not too complicated when you’re pregnant and tired. :)

Fabric issues

Had some difficulties deciding which PDF to print. Whilst the pattern was easy to follow I had some issues with the fabric choice. It really needed to have a lot of stretch in it in order to allow the wearer to move comfortable. Unfortunately anything that stretchy tends to be rather light for a skirt

Great comfy skirt

Super easy to make and follow instructions, took the afternoon to make from start to finish. The only thing is the sizing, I'm about size 12/14 normally and I made the Large size, and it was very snug with not much stretch over baby bump and I was only 24 weeks at the time. Otherwise, great pattern.
