Opal Curve pants & shorts pattern
Opal Curve is a relaxed fit high waist pants set with mix and match options. Pattern includes paperbag or standard elastic waistband, inseam or patch pockets, back pockets, belt loops, an optional belt and multiple lengths.
View A is a pair of tapered leg pants with paper bag waist and belt. View B is a pair of wide leg pants with elastic waist. View C is a pair of shorts with patch pockets and paper bag waist. View D is a pair of knee length shorts with elastic waist and belt.

I'm french and I don't speak English very well. The pattern is really awesome. Simple and easy to sew. I love it ! I sewed two pants for our honeymoon in London.
The only problem is, in my opinion, the part between the legs, which goes from the front to the back (from the pubis to the bottom) was too big and I had to make it smaller. I am so happy to know your patterns and I will carry on buying some of them!
What a terrific pattern! I’ve made up the wide leg version in linen; they’re stylish and comfy. Will definitely be making some other versions too. The instructions are clear and the blog sewalong posts are a great source of additional information.
Love these trousers, I’ve been looking for a paper bag waist in my size for ages. I’ve made the trousers and am now making a pair of faux leather shorts. Finally I can live my fashion dreams! (@preya_and_the_patterns)
Loving these paperbag waistband pants I made. Super easy pattern with sizes up to 30. Although next time I will probably do a petite adjustment in addition to tapering the legs a bit more. I used a printed canvas fabric by Rifle Paper Co and have already gotten a ton of compliments. I tagged you on Facebook if you want to see a picture.
