Button front pleated or gathered skirt with pockets. Pattern sits on the natural waist and features two lengths, two wide waistband options, button front placket, large scoop pockets and pleating or gathering in the front and back.
View A is a button front knee-length pleated skirt with fitted waistband; View B is a button front knee length gathered skirt with elastic back waistband; View C is a button front midi length pleated skirt with fitted waistband; View D is a button front midi length gathered skirt with elastic back waistband.

I love this pattern, first time I’ve made a skirt like this and it won’t be the last time I make this pattern. The instructions were clear and the pictures that accompanied the blog made it really easy for me to follow. Would definitely recommend this to a beginner who wants to expand their techniques.
Kelly Curve skirt pattern
My daughter is enjoying this as her first sewing project. She had a desire to make a fun skirt of “chicken” fabric. Mission almost accomplished!
The Kelly Skirt was an easy and fast make for a beginning seamstress. My favorite parts of this pattern were the fit of the pattern, the sizing, and the wonderful instructions! I made the Kelly curve with a pleated front and elastic gathered back and it turned out so cute! I usually wear a size 14 pants and made the 18 in the Kelly curve. It fits perfectly!!!!
I really appreciated how much effort they put in the instructions as I learned a few new sewing techniques I'll be able to apply to other makes. I Will definitely be using this to make many more Kelly skirts and exploring all the hacks!
This pattern is a summer must! It is a flowy and easy to sew skirt! I can;t recomend this pattern enough!
