Brumby skirt pattern

I really enjoyed sewing this skirt! The details made it really special and I learned several new skills too, especially the exposed zipper. So thankful for the tutorials on the blog.

Brumby skirt pattern

I found the instructions easy to follow and I'm very new to sewing. I love the giant pockets! I've only made version B but look forward to making the shortest version.

This pattern is well made and the instructions are well-written. I made the below-the-knee version in a medium blue linen fabric. I added several inches to the length as I am quite tall, aand reduced the fullness in the skirt by 3-4 inches, while retaining the A-line shaping. I used an invisible zipper rather than the exposed zipper. I love the big pockets!

The skirt turned out well and will make a cool summer garment.
