Instructions were very easy to follow. Only issue I have is when tracing out the dart point, found it confusing. I raised the neck line by 1 cm so it’s not too low for myself so If I reuse this pattern, I will add a back zipper for easy wear. Otherwise it’s a lovely pattern.

Truly Gorgeous Dove Top

I am super happy with the end result of this make. Fit is perfect - just had to adjust one shoulder (my shape) and I added 5 cm to the length. I don’t normally love high/low hems, but it works well with the shape of this top. I can’t wait to make another one (maybe a dress) with the biggest of the sleeve options (I’m obsessing about these!) The only tricky part for me was working out which way the hem facing was attached, but once I went back to the pattern pieces and looked at the notches/markings it all made sense.

Stable Closet Piece, Definitely.

Everyone loves clear, defined and understandable instructions, n that's the reason why Megan Nielsen is among my favourite choice. Thus, the Dove blouse is a bliss sew, an elegance that comes with simplity. I love the fact that it's so versatile, n I sew it with Batik textile, which gives me much room for creativity. It's a stable closet piece, definitely.

Great basic

I sewed view A of the blouse, which has straight elbow length sleeves. I followed the sew along for all instructions. I didn't do any of the fancy finishing techniques - just tacked the facings at the seam allowances and top stitched the hem facing. This is a great pattern, so classy and special with the hem! I used a cotton chambray and it was perfect.

Simple classic style

Love the classic style with options for casual or more dressy with the added sleeve options.
The fit is lovely & l love the sweep of the hem.
