Great!

The wattle skirt is fantastic! Huge pockets, very comfortable, simple pattern and instructions.

Really Clever!

I love how much more comfortable it is to wear a skirt without a zipper. The closure on the waistband combined with the semi-open pocket is very clever! As an added bonus, the pockets are big enough to be useful. The included finished garment measurements and thorough size chart meant I had no trouble picking my best size right off the bat-- I could have worn my toile, it fit so well!

Lovely!

First off, I’m a beginner sewer as of six weeks ago. With that in mind, I found the pattern super simple to follow with the help of this site’s short Wattle tutorials. I didn’t get the button on the correct side of the skirt, but it still fits and looks great. I plan to make more skirts using this pattern and learn how to add a lining. Fabric was purchased from Harts Fabric located in Santa Cruz, CA.

Haven't made it yet, but so far so good!

I haven't made the skirt yet, but the process of purchasing and downloading the content was very smooth. All of the instructions I have read so far are very clear and I appreciate all of the resources available on the website for tips, tricks, and modifications!

Easy make, stunning skirt!

How lovely to have a skirt without a zip! I've never made a bias skirt before but this was super simple and I love the pockets and the button waist closure. Definitely plan to make more of these!
