How to make a grandpa cardigan
Thanks to everyone for voting in my which how to would like you like to see next poll! It was really great to get your feedback on what you wanted to see next. For those of you who sent me mildly panicked emails, don’t worry I will do my best to get you a how to on how to make my pillowcase dress!! I’ll be taking on the how to’s in order of popularity, so stay tuned :)
This was actually great timing as I was planning to make myself another grandpa cardigan anyway!
Here’s the downloadable pattern & instructions, (it also includes instructions for if you don’t want your cardi to be so grandpa-ish!). As a side note, if I made this cardi again, I think i’d make it a few inches longer, so maybe keep that in mind!
Meanwhile, decided to use playtime with Scout ( our dog) as my impromptu photo shoot today… isn’t he a beautiful dog? I love my lab! I’m also very excited to see they are planting in the field behind our yard… last year it was soy bean, the year before it was just grass, so I’m intrigued to see what this year will bring! Maybe corn? then I’d really be a stereotypical Iowan! As a side note, I love dandelions. I know that technically they’re “weeds” and I should be going nutso trying to kill them, but I can’t help it, I just find them so pretty… and check it out our little tree is looking so green! yay spring!
